LTN readers, comprising the industry’s leading e-discovery practitioners, nominate the visual analytics software from Attenex
SEATTLE — Jan. 29, 2008 — Attenex Corp., a leading e-discovery software provider, today announced that it has been selected as a finalist for the 2007 Law Technology News Award for Electronic Data Discovery Systems Software or Hardware. This nomination, submitted by the readers of LTN Magazine, marks the second time Attenex has been a finalist for this award.
“This nomination is a great validation of what we’re seeing in the marketplace – a greater interest in how legal review tools can dramatically reduce the cost and risk of e-discovery, and especially a growing awareness of Attenex as the premier e-discovery software provider,” said Kimra Hawley, CEO of Attenex. “We’re very pleased to be recognized in this way by LTN readers, which include some of the most knowledgeable e-discovery practitioners at corporations, law firms and legal service providers.”
In 2007, the editors of Law Technology NewsÒasked the publication’s more than 40,000 subscribers to nominate finalists in its fifth annual program to identify products and vendors that represented outstanding achievement in legal technology in 14 award categories. The awards will be presented at the LTN Technology Awards Dinner at LegalTech® New York on February 5, 2008. Information on the awards and winners will be featured in the March 2008 issue of Law Technology News and on the magazine’s Web site at www.lawtechnologynews.com.
Attenex® Patterns® E-Discovery Software, one of the top e-discovery software applications in the market according to the 2007 Socha-Gelbmann E-Discovery Survey, dramatically reduces the time and cost of the most expensive process within e-discovery: legal document review. Attenex Patterns processes and de-dupes the data set, in some cases reducing the volume of data by up to 80 percent, and then utilizes visual analytics to present legal review teams with a faster, more efficient and less costly method to review the information. Attenex offers IT and legal departments with white papers, case studies and Webinars on best practices for e-discovery at the Attenex Website, www.attenex.com.
